Yasin was born in the United States, moved to Iraq during the 1960s, and returned to the United States in the fall of 1992. He possesses a US passport.
WANTED: Should be considered armed and dangerous. Following the 1993 New York World Trade Center bombing, several terrorists suspected of involvement were arrested and indicted. Abdul Rahman Yasin, one of those indicted, fled the United States immediately after the bombing. He is now a fugitive from justice.
He is indicted for damage by means of fire or an explosive; damage by means of fire or an explosive to US property; transport in interstate commerce of an explosive; destruction of motor vehicles or motor vehicle facilities; conspiracy to commit offense or defraud the United States; aiding and abetting; assault of a federal officer in the line of duty; and commission of a crime of violence through the use of a deadly weapon or device.
